Vala

Vala has a design that blends the grace of an English Roundhand script with the gravitas of an extra bold Bodoni. Vala's inspiration was found in the window lettering of a small shop in the streets of Bogotá, and is at the same time a tribute to the work of Giambattista Bodoni

Vala shines in print headlines, subheads, cover art and packaging. Its spirited ball-terminals and a large x-height also brings a distinctive melding of verve and poise.

It has a large set of swash capitals, a suite of fancy ligatures, and a collection of lowercase alternative designs. The result is a design that emulates custom lettering for posters, headlines and logotypes.
